Older historical romances are so much more accurate.

I get really tired of the discussions on amazon about how unacceptable rape, abuse, pregnancy, infidelity, etc. Authors like Rosemary Rodgers, Johanna Lyndsey, et. al., were being true to the time period. Don't we all know that such behavior is not acceptable today? Because we read it doesn't mean we support it. It's the way things were at the time. If you don't like it, don't read it. I wish the older '70's,80's and 90's books were more available. I have to pay through the nose for reprinted editions so I've been going to Half price books, garage sales, craigs list, etc. If you have any other suggestions on how to obtain copies of these wonderful books, please share.
